Between September 9-11, 2024, the meeting of the Implementation Group of the European Initiative for the Exchange of Young Officers (EMILYO) took place at Albert Borschette Congress Center in Brussels.
Created with the aim of increasing interoperability and developing a common organizational culture, an initiative under the coordination of the European Security and Defense College (ESDC), it reached the 63rd meeting of the Implementation Group (IG), where plenary sessions and panel debates defined by Emilyo's 21 lines of development took place.
This meeting was attended by representatives from "Henri Coandă" Air Force Academy in Brașov, Cosmina Roman (EMILYO Vice-chair), Laurian Gherman and Adrian Lesenciuc (LoD Chairs).
The works of the 63rd IG Meeting Group was coordinated by Harald Gell, EMILYO Chairman and by Christoforou Christoforos, ESDC responsible for the planning and implementation of joint courses under the EMILYO umbrella. Fergal O'Regann, Acting Head of ESDC, was also invited to the debates.
The 63rd IG Meeting represented the framework of consistent debates on the possibilities of inter-institutional collaboration and, above all, on active collaborations, a chapter in which Romania is an example of good practices in Brussels.
